Meet the team

We met Susie Fogelson and Gary Nelson a year ago as we assembled a new leadership team and were refining the Rosa Mexicano brand and its position. They were asked to focus on the following key areas: Menu strategy and innovation design around food; Building out an experiential strategy that can bring menu items to life as well as enhance the overall dining experience; [and] Content strategy for the brand across social platforms.

We quickly discovered that we needed to gain internal consensus among the Leadership Team as to who we were, who we wanted to be and how to get there. Susie and Gary partnered with me and the team in the process of guiding the discussion while keeping us focused on the Key Areas of focus listed above. Their ability to listen to the team and aid in the process of defining and refining our Brand Position was key. Founder and CEO of F&Co, Susie Fogelson, is the former Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy at Food Network and Cooking Channel and the driving force in all aspects of strategy and marketing for both brands. Over the course of her career, Susie has cultivated and fine-tuned her expertise of the food-connected consumer and the food-marketing ecosystem. Susie founded F&Co to bring her skills to brands across categories, by uncovering insights and developing storytelling strategies to help them find relevance in today's marketplace.

His background includes work with Fortune 500 clients across categories including: automotive, tech, CPG, financial services, travel, and entertainment.
